Just wanted to stop by and drop a review of our most recent trip to Everglades National Park via Alianza Transportation.  First off I’d like to say that we normally don’t take boat tours, but really there aren’t too many other options in the Everglades.  Before we came we were out hiking most of the morning so we wanted to relax on the airboat.  It was the first time we had taken this trip and was quite a memorable experience.

My wife loves to bird watch so she literally got to see dozens of different species of birds.

We were able to see many snakes, we saw probably 30 alligators and were always seeing new animals and things ruffling around in the bushes.

One of my favorite parts about this was that it was all on a whim, I can’t guarantee this for everyone but we had no reservations.  The shuttle to the Everglades was very fun and our driver provided lots of friendly advice about restaurants etc to go to afterwards.  He recommended El Toro Taco which was out of this world!

We wanted frog legs but maybe next time.
